PowerUp has proudly been serving the ArkLaTex since the year 2000 as an authorized generator dealer for Briggs & Stratton, GE, Generac, and Gillette. We are a turn-key operation by providing sales, installation, maintenance and repairs of residential, commercial and industrial standby generators.
The Team and Their Philosophy
Owners Randy and Jackie Smith have a very simple philosophy: Success comes from serving others. This philosophy, along with their core values of quality, integrity and trust, is what drives their business.
Other than Randy and Jackie’s love of God, family and LSU, they have a deep love for people. They have surrounded themselves with a team committed to building strong relationships with local residents, subcontractors, commercial builders, and other members of the community.
Our administrative and sales teams all work in tandem to ensure the entire generator purchasing process is painless. The management team constantly reviews our systems and searches for ways to improve processes and to better serve our customers.
PowerUp’s dedicated team of trained and skilled generator technicians, electricians and pipefitters focus on getting you prepared for ALL the crazy weather we have here in North Louisiana. During the installation process, the technicians keep the work area clean and free of hazards. Our technicians are trained to leave nothing behind except their footprints (well, and the generator!).
It is personal to each member of our team. It is not, simply, business. We take pride in what we sell, install, service and maintain.
Since technology is constantly changing, our team members are encouraged to keep learning. For this reason, we offer ongoing training for our generator technicians, electricians and administrative staff. Knowledge is power!
We are often asked “what are your service hours?”
That is an easy question! We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for any generator related emergency you may have.
During the stifling, dangerous heat in August that strains the power grid to the severe spring thunderstorms that bring flooding rains, PowerUp technicians will be there.
When an issue arises, we can help you stop searching for flashlights and matches for candles and get back to doing what you want and need to do!
